SMS Opt-In Documentation

How SMS consent works on Duezer

This page documents Duezer's SMS opt-in flow for carrier and Twilio A2P 10DLC review purposes. Duezer's participant-adding screens require an authenticated organizer account, so this page reproduces exactly what an organizer sees when adding a participant's phone number to a payment collection — without requiring a login.

See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more detail on data collection and SMS handling.

Add a person to a collection

This is a static, disabled reproduction of the live form for documentation purposes — it does not submit data.

Consent flow, in plain terms
  1. A Duezer organizer (coach, trip planner, club leader, etc.) creates a group payment collection on duezer.com.
  2. The organizer adds each participant's name and contact info, which they've obtained directly from that participant — for example, a teammate gives their coach a phone number to join a roster and receive payment reminders.
  3. Before a phone number can be added, the organizer must actively check a box (unchecked by default, shown above) confirming the participant has agreed to receive SMS reminders from Duezer — the "Add person" action is blocked until this box is checked.
  4. The participant then receives SMS reminders about that specific payment collection until they pay or reply STOP.
